Premium Finishes Copper Steel Brass

COPPER

Copper is valued for its high thermal and electrical conductivity, inherent strength, and longevity. It is supplied with a soft pink tone that reflects its raw material state.

With exposure to the elements, copper naturally develops a patina. This surface oxidisation deepens into rich purples and greens outdoors, giving the material a weathered, architectural character. Indoors, the change is more restrained, with warm browns and muted variations.

This patina is both visual and functional. It forms a protective layer that significantly increases corrosion resistance, making copper well suited to demanding environments.

Maintenance
Copper requires no ongoing maintenance. If a return to the original finish is desired, gentle abrasion with a standard household scourer, worked in the direction of the grain, will restore the surface. Ageing treatments and protective sealants are available where a controlled appearance is required. Gloves are recommended during handling and installation to avoid marking the surface.

BRASS

Brass is a robust copper and zinc alloy recognised for its warm golden tone and long-term durability. Its natural finish offers a refined presence that sits comfortably within both contemporary and traditional architectural contexts.

Over time, brass retains a golden-brown base while developing a subtle, muted patina. The gradual surface change adds depth and character without impacting performance or structural integrity.

Maintenance
Brass requires minimal maintenance. If cleaning is desired, gentle abrasion with a standard household scourer worked in the direction of the grain will restore the surface. Household brass polishes may also be used with a soft cloth. Ageing treatments and protective sealants are available where a controlled or consistent finish is required. Gloves are recommended during handling and installation to minimise marking.

316 STAINLESS STEEL

316 stainless steel is selected for its high corrosion resistance, strength, and refined appearance. The inclusion of molybdenum improves performance in aggressive environments, making it suitable for coastal, marine, and high-humidity conditions.

The surface presents a clean, silver-toned finish that sits comfortably within contemporary and industrial architectural settings. The material is non-reactive, hygienic, and stable across indoor and outdoor applications.

Maintenance
316 stainless steel requires minimal maintenance. Routine cleaning with mild soap and water will remove surface residue and maintain the finish. For more persistent marks, a non-abrasive cloth or stainless steel cleaner may be used. Harsh chemicals and abrasive pads should be avoided to preserve the surface integrity.

POWDER COATING

Powder coating is a durable applied finish known for its uniform surface and long-term performance. The coating is electrostatically applied as a dry powder and cured under heat to form a resilient protective layer.

The resulting finish resists chipping, scratching, fading, and corrosion, making it suitable for both interior and exterior architectural applications. A wide range of colours and textures is available, allowing the finish to support both functional and visual requirements.

White, Black, Medium Bronze, and Clear Coat are offered as standard finishes. Custom colours and coatings are available on request.

Maintenance
Powder-coated surfaces require minimal maintenance. Regular cleaning with mild soap and water will remove surface dirt and environmental residue. Abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, and harsh chemicals should be avoided to preserve surface consistency. For more persistent marks, a soft cloth or sponge with a gentle, non-abrasive cleaner is recommended.
